Where adrenaline meets precision, and every millisecond matters, the world of motorsport is where Millers Oils thrives. Teaming up with drivers, teams and series’ to provide support and award-winning lubricants, Millers Oils has once again demonstrated a commitment to pushing performance to its limits both on and off the track. Let’s dive into the action and celebrate the achievements of our incredible partners this season.
What a season with EXCELR8 Motorsport! Competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and MINI CHALLENGE, this powerhouse team brought us moments of nail-biting tension and triumph. MINI CHALLENGE champion Dan Zelos joined the BTCC grid late in the season. He wowed everyone by scoring points in every round and winning the Jack Sears Trophy at Silverstone.
The BTCC finale had us on the edge of our seats, as Tom Ingram delivered an incredible performance, narrowly missing out on the championship title in a showdown to remember. From meeting fans in the paddock, to drama on the track and watching the action from the pits —this partnership delivered excitement at every turn. See for yourself here.
The MINI CHALLENGE serves as a critical proving ground for rising motorsport talent, and delivers close competitive racing, aligning with our passion for people, and commitment to performance. This made it a natural fit for Millers Oils involvement, where we proudly became the Official Lubricant Partner, immersing us in all the MINI action, including the debut of the exciting JCW Sport category.
For the 2024 season, we launched our cutting-edge lubricant range, Challenger by Millers Oils, designed specifically for track-ready MINIs. Offering superior protection, reduced friction, and maximum power output, this range ensured peak performance across the MINI CHALLENGE series. From Dylan Hotchin’s thrilling last-minute win in the JCW Sport category to Dan Zelos taking the championship title at Knockhill, our products were there every step of the way. We can’t wait to dive into another year of the MINI CHALLENGE’s action-packed racing!
After stepping away from the driver’s seat to work in an off-track capacity in 2023, MINI CHALLENGE driver Hannah Chapman made a triumphant return to racing this year in the new JCW Sport category. Behind the wheel of a car pioneering sustainable fuel, she proved her resilience and talent with standout performances in challenging conditions, setting the stage for a full return to racing in 2025.
Hannah Chapman recently joined Millers Oils as a brand ambassador, perfectly reflecting our shared commitment to innovation and passion for motorsport. We’re thrilled to continue supporting her as she builds on this season’s success, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in 2025.
For the second year running, Millers Oils proudly partnered with Sime Racing, championing their efforts in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club Pre66 Championship. With the skilled leadership of Barry Sime, the team delivered remarkable performances, underscoring the durability and reliability of Millers Oils lubricants in classic motorsport.
At the Super Touring Power 2, Sime’s 1964 Morris Mini Cooper S tore through the competition, securing P2 overall in the Pre66, first in class, and setting the fastest lap. It’s the perfect example of where classic engineering meets modern lubricant technology, and the results speak for themselves.
As one of the UK’s leading independent Porsche specialists, Strasse continued to shine in partnership with Millers Oils, demonstrating the synergy between precision engineering and Millers Oils high-performance lubricants. Back at the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire, Dave and Jamie delivered an exceptional performance, securing 31st overall, 1st in class in D3, 1st in class British Historic Championship and 1st in class Northern Historic Championship.
RS Off-Road
Father-son duo RS Off-Road didn’t hold back this year, continuing to take on the extreme challenges of off-road racing in some of the most demanding events. With a partnership backed by advanced lubricants designed to withstand harsh terrains, their Land Rover Discovery proved unstoppable. In the new Yorkshire Hill Rally, the team secured an impressive 2nd place in Class 3 and finished 25th Overall, and just last weekend delivered an outstanding performance in the Scottish Borders Hill Rally.
In the MG Trophy Championship, Millers Oils lubricants provided the power and reliability the drivers needed to push their cars to the limit. The season saw thrilling battles, and James Cole crowned the champion, with Millers Oils ensuring engines stayed strong under intense pressure.
Millers Oils strengthened its collaboration with Silverstone Rally School, culminating in another thrilling Millers Oils x Silverstone Rally School Partners Day. Hosted by brand ambassador, Hannah Chapman, the event brought together an incredible mix of valued customers, competition winners, and motorsport enthusiasts, including RS Off-Road’s Reece, and Barry and Jimmy Sime. It was all about sharing our passion and getting hands-on with the adrenaline of rally racing – a truly unforgettable experience!
From BTCC battles to impressive rally results, Millers Oils 2024 motorsport partnerships have once again proven our commitment to innovation and performance. Supporting drivers and teams across disciplines, Millers Oils has reaffirmed its role as a cornerstone of motorsport excellence, delivering the lubricants and expertise that keep engines—and dreams—running.
