This week we caught up with Eryk from our international team. From progressing through Millers Oils to setting his sights on a university degree, Eryk is always looking ahead. Inspired by the likes of Schwarzenegger and Steven Bartlett, he approaches each step with focus, ambition, and quiet determination.
I am a proactive self-motivated person who enjoys taking on new challenges.
I enjoy being busy, active and getting things done. As a person I like to be sociable, if only briefly, and I am definitely not loud (though this may change as the office is very loud! – in a positive way, of course).
I started as a production operative about 4 years ago, I was then promoted to blending operative, before being advanced to the international sales department through a college apprenticeship.
This is now complete and I work full time in International Sales & Administration. The time spent is both great and challenging which is very helpful.
Each day is a highlight. Being with good people and making it all happen. I get a positive feeling from helping with enquiries, making connections and seeing progression as I go through my daily tasks.
If I have to name a highlight it will definitely be the fresh pizza van that was arranged for all Millers Oils staff hard work!
I’d be looking to make a living of course. My long term ambition is to complete a university degree, however there may be other options to consider as time progresses, so this is a personal goal to hold onto.
Reading. I enjoy currently “Plato: The complete works” and going to the gym (I make it into the gym around twice a week for a good stretch and pump).
Fish and chips. It has to be.
This will forever be my grandmother. But also…
Arnold Schwarzenegger to name one, or more recently Steven Bartlett, creator of Diary of a CEO as seen on Youtube. I’d recommend these two influences to anyone.
