LCV Market on the Rise 

The UK’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) market experienced a 2.4% rise in October, achieving its strongest performance in three years and continuing a streak of three consecutive months of growth. This momentum is largely driven by rising demand for small and medium vans, which play a critical role in supporting essential services across the UK economy. UK Government to Review Electric Vehicle Targets

The UK government is set to revise its Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate, which currently sets strict electric vehicle sales targets for carmakers, with penalties for falling short. While the 2030 target for phasing out new petrol and diesel cars remains unchanged, the adjustment aims to reflect current economic and market challenges, including rising costs and slowing EV demand.
