May delivered breakthrough victories, podium finishes and hard-fought championship points. But as ever, motorsport proved unpredictable, bringing its share of challenges and setbacks along the way. Not every weekend went to plan, but the focus remained the same across every championship: delivering performance, reliability, and results.
Jodie Sloss enjoyed a standout weekend at Dijon, taking victory in both races alongside teammate David Levy. Despite a difficult qualifying and testing phase where pace was hard to unlock, they managed to maximise their race performance. In Race 1, Sloss delivered a strong start and a consistent opening stint, managing the gap effectively before handing over to Levy, who brought the car home for a well-earned win. Race 2 proved even more chaotic, but the pair stayed focused, maintaining strong execution throughout to secure a second victory.
It was a frustrating weekend for Adam and the No. 4 crew at Monza. Starting the race in challenging circumstances, teammate Harry was caught up in contact at Turn 1 on the opening lap. Despite the damage, he managed to continue for several laps before the team was forced to bring the car into the pits with low water pressure. With retirement from the race effectively unavoidable, the team worked to complete the necessary repairs and returned to the track for a single shakedown lap before the chequered flag. Unfortunately, the early setback meant Adam never got the opportunity to take the wheel. Attention now turns to the 24 Hours of Spa, where Adam and the team will be looking to bounce back at the main event on the calendar.

Barry Sime’s visit to Touring Car Rewind at Oulton Park delivered a solid points haul in testing conditions, even if the results didn’t fully reflect his pace. In qualifying he secured P8 from a field of 27 entries. Race 1 brought rain and an ill-timed dry setup, leading to a difficult start and early loss of positions, but he recovered after a red flag, finishing P9. Race 2 saw fully wet conditions, where improved setup and tyre choice allowed steady progress, eventually finishing P8 with clean, consistent running.
Team VERTU enjoyed a successful weekend at Brands Hatch, securing its first win of the season and celebrating its 100th BTCC podium finish. Tom Ingram claimed victory in Race 3 after fighting through the field, while Ricky Collard delivered an impressive performance with 3 podium finishes across the weekend. The team also celebrated a points finish for Nicolas Hamilton in difficult conditions. Despite mixed weather and several on-track setbacks, Team VERTU demonstrated strong pace throughout the event, leaving Brands Hatch with silverware, and valuable championship points.
At Snetterton, Team VERTU got some strong results, taking 3 podiums and securing silverware for all drivers. Tom Ingram, Tom Chilton and Ricky Collard all scored podium finishes, while Nicolas Hamilton secured a hugely emotional Jack Sears Trophy win. The weekend featured strong qualifying pace but also setbacks from track limits, penalties and mechanical failures, including Ingram’s Race 2 retirement. Collard and Chilton delivered consistent podium-chasing performances, while Hamilton impressed with multiple recoveries. Despite mixed fortunes, the team collected trophies for every driver, rounding out a very positive weekend.

Max Edmundson secured a double win at Brands Hatch in the MINI CHALLENGE JCW. After being promoted to pole due to penalties, he led from the start and controlled the race, holding off the field to take victory and close the points gap. Behind him, Sam Gornall secured second, helping Pro Alloys Racing complete a 1–2 finish, while Olivier Algieri took third after a close fight with Harry Hickton and Alex Solley in an action-filled midfield battle. Tom Ovenden then won the MINI CHALLENGE reverse-grid race for his fourth victory of the season. After a safety car period, he recovered from early setbacks and chased down leader Olivier Algieri, taking victory on the final lap. Alfie Garford in the JCW Sport maintained his winning record with a sixth successive win in JCW Sport, winning all 3 races at Brands Hatch.
Josh Porter secured a dominant lights-to-flag victory in the opening race at Snetterton after converting pole position into a win. Charlie Hand then secured his maiden MINI CHALLENGE win in Race 2 after leading from pole in the reverse-grid race. him, Sam Gornall worked his way up to second, while Henry Howarth claimed third for his first podium. Josh Porter completed the weekend taking his second victory in the final race. Starting from pole, he led from the outset and controlled the race throughout as team-mates Tom Ovenden and Olivier Algieri battled behind, securing an EXCELR8 podium lockout. In JCW Sport, Alfie Garford maintained his unbeaten run in class with another 3 wins from 3 races at Snetterton.
Harry Hickton enjoyed a strong weekend in the MINI CHALLENGE at Brands Hatch, securing his first podium finish of the 2026 season with second place in Race 1. After a difficult opening round at Donington Park, Hickton bounced back with impressive pace throughout the weekend, including a standout qualifying performance that earned him pole position for race one based on second fastest lap times. Despite battling power steering issues during the opening race, he held on to claim second place before adding further points finishes with tenth and fifth place results on Sunday.
Harry Hickton continued his consistent season at Snetterton, scoring points in all 3 races despite a difficult qualifying session. After showing strong pace throughout Friday practice, a small issue in qualifying left the Mannpower Motorsport driver ninth on the grid. Hickton responded well, fighting through the field to secure two fifth place finishes across the weekend, although a track limits penalty dropped him to eighth in Race 2. A strong recovery drive in the final race highlighted his pace, and puts him in a positive position heading into Oulton park.

Luca Marinoni Osborne claimed 2 wins in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy at Snetterton after a chaotic and penalty-filled finale. Despite intense early battles involving Josh Wilby, Matt Luff and points leader Alex Keens, the race featured multiple position changes and track limits penalties that shuffled the order throughout. Marinoni Osborne initially lost and regained the lead before ultimately being confirmed as winner after post-race penalties. Alex Keens bounced back from the electrical issues that hampered his challenge in race one to secure victory in race 2 of the weekend.
Current British and Irish Rallycross Championship leader Derek Tohill secured a historic maiden victory in the opening round of the 2026 French Rallycross Championship at Lessay. Competing with DA Racing in the Peugeot 208 WRX, Tohill battled through heavy rain and intense competition to secure a place in the final. Delivering a standout performance and taking the lead in the closing stages to defeat multiple French Champion Davy Jeanney. The victory marks a major milestone in Tohill’s rallycross career and builds on his strong start to the 2026 season.
Round 2 at Silverstone marked another step forward for Adam Marshall. In qualifying, he was the last car on track, initially struggling to get through, but improving throughout the session as he adapted to a new setup, and ultimately secured P8. In the race, he initially lacked pace before settling into a strong rhythm. However, rising engine temperatures and a misfire under load hampered performance after the pit stop. Despite this, he continued to chase positions, closing a 17-second gap to P4 before a final-lap incident left him just 0.4 seconds short.
