Millers Oils Invests In Fluid Management Capacity

Due to increasing demand for our fluid management services, Millers Oils has recently invested in new equipment for high volume filtration work. The HY-PRO FSL 30 high viscosity filter system used in conjunction with HY-PRO Beta 4000 3 micron filters allows us to filter 114 litres of oil per minute.

The new equipment has already been set to work, having successfully completed two turbine service fills and filtration for a global water and waste management business. The job involved draining the used oil, cleaning the tank, refilling with flushing oil through the filter pump, followed by a final drain and clean out before refilling with the new oil and filtering to the OEM’s recommended ISO cleanliness code.

In total, 64,000 litres of oil were pumped and 32,000 litres were filtered using the new HY-PRO FSL 30. The new investment allowed us to complete these large jobs during planned maintenance outages, ensuring minimum disruption for our customers.
