Millers Oils Announces Sponsorship Of Pedal for Pounds 11 Charity Bike Ride

Millers Oils, the leading independent blender and supplier of advanced oils, lubricants, and fuel treatments, announced that it will be sponsoring the Pedal for Pounds 11 charity bike ride.

Pedal for Pounds is an annual bike ride and this year it is raising funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Andy’s Man Club, Huddersfield Town Foundation, and Ruddi’s Retreat. The event will take place from 26 to 29 April 2023 with the ride beginning at the John Smith’s Stadium and finishing at the Cardiff City Stadium, where Town will take on the Bluebirds in their second to last game of the 2022/23 season.

The ride will be approximately 240 miles in total, with the mileage breakdown of each day as follows:

• Day 1: departing from the John Smith’s Stadium to Lichfield (108 miles)
• Day 2: ride from Lichfield to Worcester (60 miles)
• Day 3: leave Worcester and finish in Cardiff (90 miles)
• Day 4: Cardiff City vs Huddersfield Town, 3pm kick-off

Pictured is this year’s ‘Pedal for Pounds’ cycling shirt featuring blue and white scales to celebrate the bike ride being in Wales, The Land of the Dragon. They’ll be worn on the first stretch of the 240-mile bike ride from the John Smith’s Stadium to Lichfield and the last stretch from Worcester to Cardiff. They’ll also be worn on the cyclist’s lap of honour prior to our final home game of the season against Reading.
