In the blink of an eye, another season of Millers Oils motorsport has come to an end. While we’ll miss the weekend race action until next year, 2026 has given us plenty to celebrate. We’d like to thank all the drivers, teams, partners and everyone we’ve worked with throughout the season for their continued hard work, support and passion for the sport. We’re proud to have been part of the journey and look forward to seeing what 2027 brings. But before we turn our attention to next season, let’s take one final look at the action from October.
Team VERTU closed out the 2026 BTCC season at Brands Hatch with 2 race wins, as Ricky Collard returned for the finale and Tom Chilton took on his final ever race weekend in the series. Collard impressed on his comeback, fighting at the front throughout the weekend. He crossed the line first in the dramatic third race, but a restart infringement penalty dropped him to 8th. Tom Ingram dominated the opening two races, securing back-to-back victories, but his weekend ended in disappointment when he and team-mate Tom Chilton were caught up in a turn 1 incident in the final race, forcing both to retire. Nic Hamilton fought hard throughout the weekend, finishing 16th in the season finale.
The Brands Hatch season finale provided a strong end to a challenging year for Dan Zelos, as he secured his best results of the season with 3 podium finishes across the weekend’s 3 races. After working tirelessly throughout the campaign to achieve an outright podium, the results marked a rewarding conclusion to a season that presented numerous challenges both on and off the track.

The 2026 MINI CHALLENGE JCW season came to a dramatic close at Brands Hatch, where Tom Ovenden successfully defended his championship title by just one point. Despite starting the final race in 13th, the EXCELR8 Motorsport driver did enough to secure the crown, with rival Max Edmundson taking victory in the race but narrowly missing out on the title. Nathan Edwards also claimed a race win over the weekend. With close battles throughout and the championship going down to the wire, the finale highlighted the close competition and unpredictable racing that make the MINI CHALLENGE such an exciting series.
Harry Hickton signed off his 2026 MINI CHALLENGE JCW season at Brands Hatch, fighting back to secure a podium finish in the final race of the year. After recovering from a difficult start to the weekend, Hickton battled his way to seventh in race one before being caught up in contact and sent into the gravel in race 2. Determined to finish on a high, he fought back from 6th to 3rd in the season finale, capping off a rollercoaster campaign that included his first JCW pole position and race win.

The MINI CHALLENGE Trophy season concluded at Brands Hatch, with Alex Keens successfully defending his championship title after a battle with teammate Matt Luff. Keens secured pole position and valuable bonus points before finishing second in the opening race, while Luff fought back in Race 2 to take second and keep the title fight going into the finale. Josh Selvadorai claimed 2 race wins, and the Rookie Cup title. In the final race, Luff finished ahead of Keens, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the points gap, with Keens retaining the championship by 10 points. Richard Jepp also secured the Directors Cup title, rounding off a competitive season.
Adam Smalley rounded off his 2026 GT World Challenge season at Portimão with a 4th place finish in class after a 3 hour race, narrowly missing out on a podium. After a productive opening day of running, qualifying was disrupted by a puncture in the final sector, but Adam and his teammates fought back to secure a strong result in the season finale. Reflecting on the campaign, Adam highlighted the progress made alongside the #4 Optimum Motorsport crew throughout the year, bringing a challenging but rewarding season to a positive close.

Jodie Sloss and teammate David Levy brought their FFSA GT4 season to a close at Paul Ricard in a challenging finale. After qualifying in fourth and third in their respective categories, the pair showed strong pace in Race 1, climbing from 24th overall to 12th and 3rd in class before a transmission failure brought their race to an early end. Despite the setback and the impact on their title hopes, they returned for the final race of the season, finishing 14th overall after another eventful outing. While not the finish they had hoped for, the pair can reflect on a positive season of competition and valuable progress.
Barry and Sime Racing rounded off the 2026 season with a busy weekend at Silverstone, competing in the Swiftune Series before making a last-minute entry into the Classic Touring Car Racing Club’s Pre-66 race. In the Swiftune Series, Barry secured 11th place in both races, battling through a competitive 30-car grid in a weekend of close, slipstreaming action. With no qualifying session and starting from the back of the grid in the Pre-66 race, he delivered an outstanding performance, charging through the field to finish 4th overall, take the class win and set the fastest lap. An impressive result to round off another successful season.

Derek Tohill closed out his 2026 Rallycross France campaign at Dreux with a determined performance, securing third place in the championship standings. After a strong start to the weekend, including a race win and third-place finish in the opening qualifying races, contact in the later heats damaged his steering but he fought back to finish third and secure a place on the second row for the final. Despite an intercooler issue in the final that affected power, Derek finished sixth in the race, securing third overall in the championship. A resilient end to the season, despite the late setbacks.
At Silverstone International, Adam Marshall finished 10th after a challenging weekend. With several new parts fitted to the car, the team focused on improving reliability, but qualifying proved difficult, leaving Adam 11th on the grid. Despite making a strong start to the race, a drop in straight-line pace made progress difficult. After a solid pit stop, Adam continued into the second half of the race, eventually securing 10th following retirements and post-race penalties.
