Millers Oils Continues Partnership with Sime Racing as Barry Sime Returns as Brand Ambassador

Millers Oils is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Sime Racing for the upcoming season, while Barry Sime will also return as a Millers Oils brand ambassador for a second year.

The partnership between Millers Oils and Sime Racing has been established for several years. What began as support for Barry’s racing programme has evolved into a broader collaboration, with Barry playing an increasingly important role in representing the brand both on and off the track.

Barry’s return as Brand Ambassador reflects the impact he has made over the past year. His deep-rooted enthusiasm for historic motorsport, combined with his approachable and engaging presence in the paddock, has made him a strong advocate for Millers Oils within the classic racing community.

Beyond his driving ability, Barry brings a genuine understanding of lubricants and their role in performance and protection, something that resonates strongly with both fellow drivers and enthusiasts. Over the past season, he has played a key role in showcasing Millers Oils, helping to connect the brand’s technical expertise with real-world application on track.

For 2026, Barry will once again compete in his iconic classic Morris Mini Cooper S, continuing his campaign in the highly competitive Classic Touring Car Racing Championship (CTCRC). A true staple of historic motorsport, the Mini remains one of the most recognisable and entertaining cars on the grid, delivering close, high-energy racing alongside Lotus Cortinas, Mustangs, and other iconic cars.

Barry’s commitment to developing and racing the Mini at this level highlights not only his driving skill, but also the importance of using high-quality lubricants to maintain performance and reliability in demanding conditions. From the paddock to the track, the Sime Racing team provides valuable insight into how Millers Oils products perform under pressure, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for delivering protection, consistency, and performance across all applications.

The 2026 season gets underway this weekend at Donington Park, where Barry will take to the track for the opening round of the CTCRC championship. With another full season of racing ahead, Millers Oils looks forward to continuing its support of Barry and Sime Racing throughout the year.

Everyone at Millers Oils would like to wish Barry the very best of luck for the opening round and the season ahead, and we look forward to another exciting year working together both on and off the track.
