CLASSICS CLASSIC ENGINE OIL
NON-DETERGENT MONOGRADE OILS
Millerol mineral engine oil suits veteran and vintage cars manufactured up to the 1930s when vehicles did not have sophisticated oil filtration.
The Millerol range is superior to original lubricants of the period, as they do not contain dispersants or detergents which hold the deposits in suspension.
These oils contains additives that reduces wear and prevent oxidation and rusting of engines and gearboxes.
LOW-DETERGENT MONOGRADE OILS
Pistoneeze mineral engine oils are formulated with low levels of detergent and dispersant additives and are suitable for veteran and vintage vehicles built up to the 1930s where a monograde oil is required and the vehicle owner is confident that no dirt or debris is accumulated in the crankcase.
Pistoneeze oils are also ideal for later vehicles built from the early 1930s to the early 1960s with superior oil filtration systems but still designed to run on monograde oils.
We now start to move into the era of engine oils suitable for modern classics, vehicles manufactured in the early 1960s and all cars that in modern day terms are at least 30 years old.
In the early 1960s to solve the problem of using different oil grades for both summer and winter, multigrade engine oils were introduced to the market.
CLASSIC HIGH PERFORMANCE 20w50 NT
Introduced in early 2014, this oil combines a Classic 20w50 viscosity with the latest Nanodrive low friction technology. Drivers of valuable and higher performance cars will benefit from the 63% lower friction and consequential 38% lower wear this oil offers.
A high performance mineral engine oil for classic petrol and diesel engines of primarily
pre-1980 vehicles. The modern technology within this oil formulation ensures an oil which will meet ‘period’ performance requirements along with more up-to-date performance needs. API SJ/CE specification. This product was called Classic High Performance 20w50 until February 2014
CLASSIC SPORT 20w50
Semi synthetic high quality engine oil formulated for discerning owners of high performance classic engines. The synthetic content provides superior cold flow characteristics, lower volatility, higher resistance to oxidation, higher film strength and a higher temperature capability than mineral oils. Formulated to the maximum viscosity within SAE 50 specifications.
CLASSIC MINI OIL 20w50
Our unique Classic Mini Oil is formulated for engines from 1960 onwards where engine and transmission share a common lubricant. Ideal for classic Minis and bikes where the clutch runs in engine oil. The additive package protects ball, roller and needle bearings found in the gearbox and provides extreme pressure (EP) protection levels much higher than conventional engine oils equal to API GL4 for gearboxes.
